Getting To Mangro-La
Getting to Lubbers Quarters is a short flight from the US mainland of approximately 55 minutes( from Ft. Lauderdale) into Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco. There are regularly scheduled flights to Marsh Harbour International Airport (airport code - MHH) from Miami, West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Melbourne and Nassau. The Marsh Harbour airport also serves private aircraft and numerous small charter airlines. It's a short boat ride from Marsh Harbour to Lubbers Quarters and navigational charts are provided with your boat rental. There is a community dock on the island, where you will leave your boat, and the home is less than a quarter mile from the dock - a golf cart is provided for quick and easy transport. There are currently no stores on Lubbers Quarters so it is best to purchase supplies while you are in Marsh Harbour -see 'about' for more info on what's available on Lubbers Quarters. Hope Town, a 10 minute boat ride from Lubbers, has both grocery & liquor stores but the selection is limited. All stores are closed on Sunday. When you make your reservations, additional information about travel from Marsh Harbour (airport code - MHH) to Lubbers Quarters is provided.
* Please note - Effective January 1st, 2006, a passport is required by the U.S. Government for travel to the Bahamas. Allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks to receive passport or expedite application accordingly - expediting of passports may require up to 2 weeks. A passport is also required for children, regardless of age. Mangro-La
is located on Lubbers Quarters east of Marsh Harbour, and is part
of the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas*. 
It
is important that you reserve your boat at the same time you get
your plane tickets and reserve the house. When you arrive, taxis
are available at the airport to take you to your boat rental. On
the way there, they will stop & wait for you
to go in the grocery and/or liquor store (please have your list ready). There
