Resist the temptation to pack "nice clothes".
Everywhere you go in the Abacos it's appropriate to dress VERY CASUAL
- Shorts, t-shirts and flip flops are
standard attire.
In addition to enough casual attire for the week, including
bathing suits, we like to remind visitors to also bring the
following items for your stay:
2 flashlights and extra batteries
fishing gear and tackle - wading shoes if bonefishing the flats
snorkel gear and flippers
portable radio for music while you are boating
rain gear
windbreakers and light sweaters in the winter months
camera
toiletries
beach towels
bug spray
wading shoes - for flats wading
tennis shoes - for island walking
sun screen
Woolite for washing wet suits
We
recommend that you consider these items to add to your shopping
list when you get to Marsh Harbour - it's not a guaranteed complete
list - but just a few things to help ready your shopping list.
Some standard staples may be left behind
by other guests, but it is best to purchase all supplies that you
anticipate needing for your stay.
Suggested items include:
paper products - paper towels, plates, napkins, cups (toilet paper
is provided)
dish soap
trash bags, aluminum foil
condiments - mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc...
coffee
breakfast cereals
breads
and sandwich supplies
snacks, sodas & juices
fruits and vegetables
meat and dairy
Beer, wine or liquor
Ice
for coolers (provided on rental boats) can be purchased at near-by
marinas and stores when you get to Lubbers.
